Oh i've looked into and it seems brush already has hardness, so if you could bring into clone stamp and healing as well would be cool |

Hey, thanks for the suggestion! You're right, the paint brush already has a hardness setting. The clone stamp and the healing brush currently use a fixed soft edge, and the "Strength" slider there only makes the whole dab weaker rather than changing the edge. Having a proper hardness control there too makes a lot of sense, I'll take a look at it. |

If we had a Radial Gradient Alpha Channel from value 0 Black to Full transparent 255 white on the brush size originating from the center to its radius outside point and the gradient value 0 could pull its Center Black value closer to the radius with value 100, we could have a Hard Brush or a Soft Brush for many tools, maybe healing, painting brush in itself, clone stamp and others.
