the model identifying itself as "Blockrun" is a ClawRouter branding injection problem, not an OpenClaw config problem.

Check if ClawRouter has a brandingName or assistantName config key in its own config

Fixed in v0.12.50.

Root cause: OpenClaw embeds model=blockrun/auto and default_model=blockrun/auto in the system prompt's Runtime section. The upstream LLM picks up "blockrun" and adopts it as its identity, overriding SOUL.md persona settings.

Fix: Added debrandSystemMessages() in the proxy layer — before forwarding requests upstream, it replaces blockrun/<profile> references in system messages with the actual resolved model name (e.g. deepseek/deepseek-chat) and strips any remaining blockrun/ prefix. SOUL.md content is preserved.
