Configuration
BEFORE YOU READ: the configurations displayed in the wiki are not the default and were changed. If you want the default configuration, use the reset to default button in the main GUI.
If you don't want to read this entire page, each button will show a short explanation of what it does when it is hovered.
The configuration GUI is accessed with Mod Menu, so you will need to have it installed.
Here are some examples of how you could make your HUD look
The configuration GUI is split into 5 categories: Visual settings, Rendering, Colors, Death Position, and Texts.
The following will explain each of these categories.
Changing these settings will control how the HUD will look. Change these to your personal preference.
This does exactly what you think it does. Toggling this on/off will control if the HUD should be rendered.
Default: yes
This option controls whether numbers should be rounded with 2 trailing decimals. When enabled, most numbers will round to something like "1.76" where they would round to "2" if disabled
Default: yes
This option will control where the HUD will render on the screen. To move the HUD, click anywhere on the screen to lock its position to your cursor. When you have moved it to where you want it, click again to save the position. Press "escape" to go back to the previous screen.
Default: top left corner
Example:
This option controls how much space there will be between the edge of the HUD and the content of the HUD. Setting this number too high will cause all of the content to be displayed off the screen.
Default: 5
This option controls how much space there will be between the different blocks of text on the HUD. Setting this number too high will cause the chunk data to render off of the screen.
Default: 10
Changing these settings will control what will be rendered on the HUD. If you don't like something that is being displayed, you can turn off its rendering.
This option controls whether the translucent gray background should render behind the text.
Default: yes
This option controls whether the chunk X and the chunk Z should render.
Default: yes
This option controls whether the direction you are looking in should render
Default: yes
This option controls whether the biome you are in should render.
Default: yes
Changing these settings will determine the color of the text on the HUD. If you don't like the default green color of the definitions, you can easily change it in these options.
These colors limited to vanilla Minecraft colors at the moment. The current supported colors are:
- white
- silver
- grey
- black
- dark red
- red
- gold
- yellow
- dark green
- green
- aqua
- dark aqua
- blue
- dark blue
- light purple
- dark purple
Eventually, I will change these options into text fields and allow custom hex colors.
This option controls the color of the definitions. This option will change the "X:" in "X: 100.01"
Default: green
This option controls the color of the data. This option will change the "100.01" in "X: 100.01"
Default: white
This option controls the color of the coordinates displayed in chat when you die, and the color of the coordinates displayed on the death screen.
Default: aqua
When you die, Coordinates Display can display your location of death on the death screen and in chat. You can decide if it will with these settings.
This option controls whether your location of death and a button to copy your position should be added to the death screen.
Default: yes
This option controls whether your location of death should be sent to you in the chat (for only you to see) when you respawn.
Default: yes
These options control different texts used by the mod. For example, when you click "send in chat message" in the coordinates gui, the mod will parse the text from this menu.
When parsed, there are a set of variables that will be inserted into the text. You can decide where the mod will insert these variables with the following text:
- {dimension} will be replaced with the player's current dimension
- {x} will be replaced with the player's current x position
- {y} will be replaced with the player's current y position
- {z} will be replaced with the player's current z position
- {direction} will be replaced with the player's current direction
- {name} will be replaced with the player's username
ALL NUMBERS WILL BE ROUNDED WITH 2 DECIMALS IF ENABLED IN VISUAL CONFIGURATION
This option controls what will be sent in chat when "send in chat is pressed in the Coordinates GUI.
Default: {x} {y} {z}
This option controls what will be copied to the clipboard when "copy" is pressed in the Coordinates GUI
Default: {x}, {y}, {z}
