07. Hytale
MiEx let's you load in Hytale worlds to be able to export out those worlds into animation software. It supports the official launcher if installed on Windows. MiEx will automatically find all worlds located in the launcher.
Internally, MiEx represents all worlds and resource packs in a format similar to Minecraft Java Edition. When loading in Hytale worlds, it will convert it into this internal format as it reads in the chunk format. Similar to loading in Minecraft Bedrock Edition, you can specify translation files that MiEx will use to map the Hytale blocks to different blocks. A joke example resource pack exists that maps Hytale blocks into Minecraft blocks.
When you first open up a Hytale world, MiEx will extract the base_resource_pack_hytale from your Hytale install and make sure that this resource pack is enabled whenever you open up a Hytale world. This resource pack contains all of the information that MiEx needs in order to be able to export out Hytale worlds. If new versions of Hytale come out, then you can use the "Update Base Resourcepack Hytale" tool to update this resource pack.
MiEx supports Hytale mods (those located in the mods folder of a world, not the global mods folder in the launcher). When you open up a Hytale world that uses mods, MiEx will automatically recognise this and ask if you want it to enable the resource packs that have the information needed to be able to export out the blocks from these mods. If it can't find these resource packs (because they haven't been installed yet), then it will show you a popup that you can use to have MiEx automatically extract the data from these mods and install them into a resource pack in MiEx.
In Hytale, some blocks may contain looping custom model animations. MiEx can export these out if "Block Animations" is turned on. You can specify the framerate and frame range that you want MiEx to export the animation out as in miex_config.json.
