Welcome to the PythonAutomationFramework wiki!

The PythonAutomationFramework is a set of Python classes that aims to handle all of the common functionality required to build a platform to do process control, such that you are able to focus on the building modules for to control processes and let the framework handle all of the other stuff including:

• Acquiring point information from I/O devices.
• Alarm handling.
• Logging of Alarms and Events.
• Remote Notification of priority alarms.
• Scheduling threads to run logic or acquire data.

To get a project running, you'll need to do the following:

• Define a point list yaml file.
• Build any control routines you need for the process.
• Define logic yaml file.
• Define a HMI yaml file.

And that's it.
