Defining a hmi.yaml file

Bruce edited this page Aug 11, 2019 · 1 revision

The hmi.yaml file sets the points to display in the HMI screen when running the hmi module.

Each top level list item represents a page that can be cycled through in the HMI. The points listed for each page are displayed. The point name used is the name as it appears in the global point database (i.e. points.yaml).

The hmi.yaml file from the sample project is shown below:

---
tank_1:
  name: Tank 1 Simulator Example
  points:
  - point_tank_1_liquid_level
  - point_tank_1_fill_rate
  - point_tank_1_pump_1_drain_rate
  - point_tank_1_pump_2_drain_rate
  - point_tank_1_pump_1_run
  - point_tank_1_pump_2_run
tank_2:
  name: Tank 2 Simulator
  points:
    - point_tank_2_liquid_level
    - point_tank_2_fill_rate
    - point_tank_2_pump_1_drain_rate
    - point_tank_2_pump_2_drain_rate
    - point_tank_2_pump_1_run
    - point_tank_2_pump_2_run
