Amp ON/OFF

Hello!

Yesterday, I wanted to configure my Tonex One as an effect platform. I used a Tubescreamer pedal tone model and my intention was to use one of my both internal FS to Switch OFF/ON the tone model (i think the best way is AMP ON/OFF) y the other FS to switch OFF/ON the Delay. For the delay I didn't have any problem since I could configure it using the Delay Power in the configurator dropdown menu, but I couldn't find one for the Amp Power.

Maybe there is a best way to switch ON/OFF a tone model when you are using a pedal tone model which I am not familiar with.

Hi,
Sorry for the slow response.
There isn't an amp enable/disable as such. However you could use the Amp model Mix parameter to achieve the same effect.
Mix of 100% (or less) is enabled. A mix of 0% is bypassed.

From the Tonex manual:
"Adjusts the TONE MODEL’s mix. At 0% the TONE MODEL is fully bypassed (noise-gate, tone eq,
compressor and reverb are still effective) at 100% the TONE MODEL is fully effective."

Amp Model mix is Midi CC 104. You can configure an FX footswitch to change this value.

However, I have a Waveshare 4.3 Touch, and when I navigate the menus, specifically the AMP tab, I see an Enable: On/Off toggle. Did you use the AMP MODEL Mix during programming to create this function?

Oh damn, yes sorry I made a mistake here.
There is an Amp enable parameter TONEX_PARAM_MODEL_AMP_ENABLE which the display uses.

However, its not exposed over Midi at the moment.
