Family match means the USB family is recognised but the exact model needs more hardware testing.

How to request

Include as much of this info as you can:

Device name:
Vendor ID (hex, e.g. 0x3302):
Product ID (hex, e.g. 0x43E8):
USB class (Audio/Composite/other):
Chipset / DAC IC (if known):
EQ software it works with (if any):
Notes:

Most useful: USB descriptor dump (lsusb -v on Linux, or Device Manager details on Windows), and whether the DAC already works with another EQ app.

How it works

Glacier EQ talks to DACs over raw HID using vendor-specific EQ protocols. Adding a new DAC means:

1. Finding the USB VID/PID and HID report descriptor
2. Working out the EQ command protocol (or reverse-engineering it)
3. Mapping it to Glacier EQ's internal filter model
4. Testing push/pull/verify on real hardware

Same chipset as a supported DAC usually means minimal work. DACs that don't expose EQ over HID can't be supported regardless.
