Squeezing twice brings back axis

If, for instance, you squeeze the time axis then close the editor and reopen, the time axis will be gone. Now if you decide to squeeze another axis, the time axis comes back. I believe this is because of the use of get_original to recreate the variable from the original variable and time is not being told to be squeezed on the original variable.
