​Since ds2api is a high-performance proxy tool, its network behavior—combined with the lack of an expensive EV digital signature—often triggers the "heuristic analysis" of antivirus software like Kaspersky.
​Why you can trust this binary:
​Fully Open Source: Every line of code is public and auditable.
​Automated CI/CD: This .exe was built and moved directly from GitHub Actions to the Release page. There is no manual intervention or potential for local infection.
​Checksum Verification: You can verify the SHA256 hash of your local file against the one provided in the Release notes to ensure it hasn't been tampered with.
​What I will do:
I'll submit a false positive appeal to Kaspersky to have this whitelisted once I have some free time.
​What you can do now:
​If you are concerned, you can upload the file to VirusTotal to see results from other engines.
​Alternatively, you can always compile it yourself from the source code using go build.
