csos doesn't work with effortless building anymore???

Describe the bug
i use effortless building v 3.10 (https://modrinth.com/mod/effortless-building/version/3.10), a building mod that is basically a survival and more user-friendly stripped-down version of worldedit.

i tried to place a line of windchests using effortless building and the game crashed.

this did not happen with any older versions of csos, nor the build i made myself by cloning the github up until commit 28a64c9 (right before the commit that made the mod compatible with create 6.0.7). throughout all of this, effortless building did not change versions at all

To Reproduce

1. install csos v8.0.2, effortless building v.3.10, and any other required dependencies
2. open up the effortless building radial menu and change the building mode to line (this was what i did to trigger the bug, as i was trying to build a line of windchests to put pipes on) or anything other than disabled
3. game crashed

wait, so it crashed by just changing the building mode? not even trying to build in that mode?

yeah
iirc I literally just switched to line mode in the radial menu and my game instantly froze and then crashed before I even had the chance to exit the menu

this does not happen in general only when I was holding a windchest

although to be fair, it could also have been that I did actually exit the radial menu but the game crashed the tick it did so

i can confirm that the crash is reproducible.
i switched building modes while my hand was empty, then held a windchest. the game crashed.

this is definitely a new issue, as i built an organ using a past version of the mod and made frequent use of the line building mode to place rows of windchests quickly.

was sound of steam the only mod you recently updated? the last commit for the class reported in the crash log hasnt been updated since april, so im not sure its just sound of steam causing an issue. the class in question

i only updated create and its addons, a full list of which may be seen in the modlist under my original post
