[Bug]: Steam not launching after update

Description

Hello

after updating my system today, steam fails to launch.
it just freezes after a cretain point, i tried running steam --reset, running it in another de (kde plasma) but nothing changed

the steam update windows still shows, the steam processes are still active but frozen.

Steps to Reproduce

1. run steam (or steam --reset)

steam launching

steam freezing
