Added

  • Added asynchronous job-completion and stop notifications above the interactive prompt while preserving the pending input, cursor position, and undo history. Notifications wait until menus and bracketed paste complete before redrawing.
  • Added terminal recovery around prompt and idle hooks, foreground jobs, and monitor-disabled shells so cjsh reclaims the terminal, restores its input settings, and preserves pending input after programs alter terminal state.
  • Added regression coverage for asynchronous job notifications, terminal-state recovery, foreground-terminal races, drag detection, mouse-capture resumption, completion context, and parallel CTest scheduling.

Changed

  • Improved smart mouse mode to suspend capture while dragging, including in interactive menus, so the terminal can select text. Capture resumes on a reported release, keyboard input, or supported focus-in events.
  • Updated CI and developer guidance to run the complete CTest suite with bounded parallelism, covering shell files alongside focused C, C++, and Python tests.

Fixed

  • Suppressed completions while the cursor is inside a recognized existing command or shell keyword, preventing insertions such as a filesystem candidate into then while retaining completion for unfinished words and word endings.
  • Corrected job-control synchronization, process-group handling, terminal recapture, and signal delivery across foreground jobs, notifications, and prompt recovery.
