The relevant code for system audio output device capture is in crates/scap-cpal/src/lib.rs. The create_capturer function currently calls host.default_output_device() at line 47-48 with no way to specify an alternative device.

To add custom output device selection, you'd need to:

1. Modify create_capturer() in crates/scap-cpal/src/lib.rs to accept an optional device name parameter
2. When a name is provided, iterate host.output_devices() and match by device.name() instead of using default_output_device()
3. Update the callers in crates/recording/src/sources/screen_capture/windows.rs (around line 1080 where scap_cpal::create_capturer is invoked) to pass through the device selection

The microphone input already supports device selection via MicrophoneFeed::list() in crates/recording/src/feeds/microphone.rs:178-200 which enumerates available input devices by name. A similar pattern could be followed for output devices - there's already precedent in the codebase with cpal::traits::HostTrait::output_devices() being available.

One consideration: on Windows, system audio capture uses loopback recording on the output device (build_input_stream_raw on an output device). The device switch detection logic in crates/recording/src/sources/screen_capture/windows.rs:1237 monitors for default device changes, so you may want to preserve that behavior or adapt it for explicit device selection.
