This is my wishlist for feature I’d love for Realm of Legends to open up item and boss design space that would take coding to implement:
• Additional starter deck slots. Currently since ‘commander’ is a deck option, you can only have the five starter decks for it. I’d love to be able to provide more options; ideally at least monocolor and the ten dual colors.
• Player Items (and ideally enemy starters) that allow you to have cards that start in hand instead of just on the battlefield. It’d be fun to be able to have items that granted instants/sorceries or guaranteed an enemy a card without requiring them to have it turn 1
• Enemies being able to have starter cards come in after a set turn delay (like ‘card X appears on turn 5’) would be a big boon in terms of boss design. Another downstream effect of this is it'd allow boss cards with ETBs, as currently starters never trigger ETBs which cuts off a large chunk of possible cards.
• The ability for dialog boxes to interact with collision and rewards on the map. Currently they can only effect their own/other dialog boxes and enemies but not collision or reward objects. This would allow for a fix of the gate bug and allow for some additional ‘roleplaying encounters’. This might be an issue with tiled? Not sure.
