Welcome to the bitsea_complement wiki!

This repository provides complementary tools and functionalities to the bit.sea package developed at OGS (https://github.com/ogs-community/bit.sea).

bitsea_complement includes scripts and utilities for managing and processing oceanographic data. The repository is organized in the following sections:

Main Sections:

• CREATE_superfloat_SUBSET Tools for creating subsets from the superfloat dataset.

• CLIMATOLOGIES --> Scripts for generating and plotting climatological data.

• FUNZIONI Utility functions used throughout the package.

• Matchup Scripts for creating matchups between float, satellite, and pseudofloat data.

• Read_and_Convert Tools for reading and converting files (e.g., from .txt to .csv).

• VISUALIZATION Scripts for visualizing oceanographic datasets.
