Pepper

Obtaining

• Found as a plant in the jungle and generates similar as a cocoa pod

• Upon breaking you get seeds to grow more and/or green peppercorns

Farming

• The seeds can be planted on a jungle tree and have three different growth stages, each with a unique texture

Processing

• Green peppercorns need to be "boiled" first, which you can do by putting a cauldron filled with water over a campfire and right clicking, or if you have farmer's delight installed you can use the cooking pot to boil them there. In both cases you get blanched peppercorns

• Blanched peppercorns can be smelted in a furnace to get black peppercorns
• Black peppercorns need to be broken down into the fine powder, which you can do in your inventory's crafting, which will give you ground pepper

Usage

• Ground pepper can be used on any food item to season it directly, or put into a shaker
