One participant slot is open. We are testing whether a first-time CaoGen user can download, install, configure a personal Provider, and finish one read-only project task within 30 minutes.

适合参与 / Who can participate

• 使用 Intel Mac，系统架构为 x86_64。Apple Silicon M1/M2/M3/M4 不属于本轮范围。

• 没有参与 CaoGen 开发，也从未使用过 CaoGen。

• 已有可用的 OpenAI-compatible 或 Anthropic Messages API 账号与自己的 Key。

• 愿意进行一次不超过 30 分钟的私下屏幕录制，便于定位真实卡点。

• You use an Intel Mac with x86_64 architecture. Apple Silicon is outside this drill.

• You have not contributed to or previously used CaoGen.

• You already have a working OpenAI-compatible or Anthropic Messages account and your own API Key.

• You are willing to join a private screen-recorded session lasting no more than 30 minutes.

测试流程 / Drill

1. 从 caogen.dev 找到 v0.1.7 Intel DMG。
2. 不使用 xattr、关闭 Gatekeeper 等绕过命令，正常安装并启动。
3. 只在 CaoGen 应用内输入自己的 Provider Key。
4. 对测试者自己的本地项目运行公开 Quick Start 只读任务。
5. 记录每一步用时、卡点和是否需要帮助。失败结果同样有价值，不会被改写成通过。

隐私 / Privacy

不要在本 Discussion 发布 API Key、Token、Provider/Base URL、真实项目路径、私库地址、录屏或证据文件。Key 不会交给维护者，也不应出现在录屏中；录屏和证据只保存在私有目录，不提交仓库、不公开。

Do not post API keys, tokens, Provider/Base URLs, project paths, private repository URLs, recordings, or evidence files here. The maintainer will not request your Key. Private evidence is never committed or published.

维护者确认条件后再私下协调测试时间。达到 1 名合格参与者后，本帖会更新为已约满；测试门禁只有在真实证据审计通过后才会关闭。

The test scope is nicely constrained. To make the result reproducible, I would record the exact Intel Mac model and year, macOS version, package checksum or release identifier, provider type, and elapsed time for each step, while never recording the API key itself.

It would help to define pass criteria before recruiting: install completes, the app starts without a Gatekeeper or architecture failure, provider configuration validates, and the first read-only task returns a useful result within the target time. If the package is unsigned or not notarized, document that explicitly so a tester does not mistake the security prompt for an application bug.

Because the plan includes private screen recordings, add consent, retention, deletion, and redaction rules, including how secrets and unrelated desktop content are handled. With one slot, keeping a short backup list would also reduce the chance that a failed setup leaves the Intel compatibility question unanswered.
