bug: [GSSoC'26] Enter Key not working on smart paste.

Problem

Currently, the smart paste does not have any way to enter through the keyboard.

Current Behavior

Enter/Shift+Enter/Ctrl+Enter do not take enter.

Expected Behavior

A shortcut like Ctrl+Enter could be added inorder to take input.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to 'https://studyplan-jvgd.onrender.com/'
2. Click on 'SmartPaste:Paste text here.'
3. Enter any task.
4. You can see it does not take enter on hitting enter enter/ctrl+enter/shift+enter

Environment

• Browser: Chrome
• Version: Latest (Windows)

Additional Context

I think adding a option to enter through the keyboards improves the workflow of the whole sending the tasks to the ai.

Hi,

I’m a GSSoC’26 contributor and I would like to work on this issue.

I understand the current problem where SmartPaste does not support keyboard-based submission using Enter/Ctrl+Enter/Shift+Enter. I can implement a keyboard shortcut (such as Ctrl+Enter) to improve usability and workflow while ensuring existing behavior remains unaffected.

I’ll also make sure the solution works smoothly across browsers and provides a better user experience.

My Plan:

Add a keydown event listener on the smart paste input
Implement Ctrl+Enter as the keyboard shortcut to submit
Test across Chrome and other browsers to ensure it works correctly
