It's just general convention for an installer to put the appimage in the applications folder and the icon in the .local/share/icons folder. I think being able to change this would make the install and auto update process more complex than it needs to be |

Hi @ChrisDKN
I've not used AppImages in linux before, so not sure if there is anything else to the Applications path, or it's simply just whatever path is used from the .desktop, so we can put the AppImage anywhere we choose?
I'd rather have this under ~/.config/AmethystModManager
But then when we go to update it in the installer, it's going to recreate over the Applications directory? If so, can you please make a settings/option to place the appimage in a /path of our choosing.
I'd rather keep the icon too under ~/.config, if you can also make an option for this.
THANKS
