Here are a few pointers to help diagnose mods that do not work
- Make sure the requirements and dependencies for the mod are installed and working
- Make sure the mod and its files are being routed to the correct place when deploying. If they are not an issue ticket needs to be opened
- Try different proton version, Some mods may have issues with certain proton versions. Try and downgrade to see if this helps
- The mod may be outdated and will no longer work with the version of the game you are using
- Check the nexus comments for issues or if the mod has specific issues with Linux
- Try the mod in a new profile with nothing else installed (except for its dependencies). It's possible another mod may be causing the issue
- Check conflicts, If a mod has losing conflicts then that means some of it's files are not being deployed/used. You need to move its position in the load order
- Make sure both vcredist and d3dcompiler_47 are both installed into the prefix from the proton menu. If a Skyrim DLL fails to load, you may be missing one of these. Same is true for other games with similar errors.
-
If you are certain the mod should work and the manager is causing it to not work, Open an issue and link the mod
-
Do not immediately open an issue after you have an issue with the mod. You must do your due diligence to find out why the mod might not working first. I am not here to guide you on how to mod or find the issue for you the second you have a problem with it.
-
If you do open an issue, If the only information you give me is along the lines of "It doesn't work". The issue will be closed.
