Description
During discussion in issue #4111, I've noticed weird inconsistencies in descriptions of some tweaks / toggles.
This PR makes minor changes to applications and tweaks descriptions, mainly standardizing punctuation, capitalization, and terminology for clarity and consistency.
Done by hand, so it's possible I've missed something. If someone notices, feel free to point out / correct.
