Chief Technology Officer @ Edition (formerly Ejlskov.design) β Denmark
Engineering leader building custom systems, apps, and integrations for ambitious clients.
I lead engineering at Edition, a Danish digital agency. We have deep roots in Shopify, but just as much of our work is custom β building bespoke apps, internal systems, headless CMS platforms, and the integrations that connect everything in between.
My path here:
- Started out customizing WordPress / PHP for friends, family, and small clients (~2-3 years)
- Joined Edition as a Frontend Developer (2 years)
- Moved into Backend / Full-stack (2 years)
- Stepped into CTO (1 year and counting)
I care about pragmatic architecture, clean DX, and shipping things that don't break at 2 AM.
Edition β Expansion Store Sync β Shopify App Store (launched Jan 2026)
A multi-store product sync app letting merchants manage product, variant, inventory, and pricing data across multiple Shopify stores from a single source β with individual sync rules per connected shop. Built to handle the messy reality of running international expansion stores at scale.
5.0 β
on the Shopify App Store Β· Solo developer β architecture, backend, frontend, and Shopify integration end-to-end.
Internal Shopify App Template
Built our internal boilerplate for shipping production-grade Shopify apps fast. Next.js + TanStack on the frontend, Redis + BullMQ for background jobs and scheduling, and an event-driven app bus tying it all together. Typed end-to-end in TypeScript, with built-in webhook handling and retries, structured logging, CI/CD pipelines, and a testing setup ready out of the box.
Built solo. Now the foundation behind every new Shopify app we ship β turning repeated production pain into a one-command starting point and standardizing the team's stack and patterns.
- Custom apps & systems β building bespoke applications when off-the-shelf doesn't cut it, from internal tooling to client-facing platforms
- Integrations β APIs, queues, and the glue that connects business-critical platforms across the stack
- Engineering leadership β building processes, choosing the right stack for the job, and making sure the team can ship without burning out
Full-time at Edition, but always open to sparring, advisory, or lending a hand on interesting problems.
