2.Your First Hologram
Make a hologram with a title, some text and a working button in about five minutes. You need to be an operator (or have cheats on).
Look at an empty spot and press H (not while looking at a hologram). The hologram browser opens.
Click + New hologram, type a name (for example welcome) and confirm. The hologram appears in front of you.

/aholo create welcome Welcome!does the same.
Look at your new hologram and press H. The editor opens on the Design tab:
- left: a list of everything on the hologram
- middle: a preview you can drag things around on
- right: the settings of whatever you've selected
- Click + Text.
- On the right, type into the Text box, for example:
Hello, {player.name}! - Drag the text where you want it in the preview.
{player.name} is a placeholder: each player sees their own name. There are lots of these, such as the time, online players or server TPS. See [Placeholders](LINK: Placeholders reference).
Colours: put & and a colour code in front of text, for example &aGreen or &6Gold.
- Click + Btn.
- Set its Label, for example
Click me. - Click On click and choose what it does. Try sending a message:
advholo:message?text=&aYou clicked it! - Drag and resize it in the preview (drag the corner to resize).
Click Save (or Ctrl+S). Close the editor, look at your button and right-click it (or press R). You should see your message.
Turn on Preview in the top bar to see your changes on the hologram in the world before you save. Only you see the preview.
