Permissions

Who	Can
Op level 2	Use /aholo, the editor and the hologram browser
Players with advancedinteractions.editor	Use the editor without being op (LuckPerms)
Op level 4, or advancedinteractions.action.console	Add buttons that run console commands
Everyone	Click holograms; use /myholo for their own (if enabled)

Hologram content can also be limited per player with perm(...) conditions and page locks. See [Who sees what](LINK: Who sees what guide).

Without LuckPerms, permission checks fall back to op level 2.

Player-made holograms

Players can make their own with /myholo (on by default, 3 per player). Change or turn it off in the config under playerEditor. See [Player-owned holograms](LINK: Player holograms guide).

Land and claim mods can decide where players may put holograms (see [Mod developers](LINK: Mod Developers)). Without one, players can place their own holograms anywhere, and only the creator can edit them.

Economy and shops

Pick what fits your server:

You have	Shops can
No economy mod	Trade item for item: bread for emeralds (shop=barter)
Lightman's Currency	Trade for its coins and bank too; it connects automatically
Another economy mod	Trade for money if that mod supports AdvancedInteractions (ask its author, or see [Mod developers](LINK: Mod Developers))

Barter shops can be stocked from a chest. See [Shops](LINK: Shops guide). The demo's bakery (/aholo spawndemo, page 5) shows both kinds, and lets players switch.

Performance

Holograms are light, but busy servers can tune:

Setting	Default	Lower it to
maxViewDistance	128 blocks	send holograms to fewer players
placeholderRates	top=10, ftbquests=5, container=1, furnace=1	refresh expensive placeholders less often (seconds)
pauseWithoutViewers	true	(keep on) skips work for holograms nobody is near

/aholo perf shows which placeholders take the most time; /aholo perf reset starts counting again.

Who clicked what

The action log records clicks with actions, purchases and sales, and staff edits (kept 30 days by default):

• /aholo log player <name> <hours>
• /aholo log holo <hologram> <hours>
