Missing data for the Global Mean Timeseries diagnostic

About 70 runs are failing for the Global Mean Timeseries diagnostic: https://dashboard.climate-ref.org/diagnostics/esmvaltool/global-mean-timeseries/groups. I looked at the first 3 and noticed that they failed because the no input data can be found by ESMValTool. For example: https://dashboard.climate-ref.org/executions/296/logs

@lewisjared Do all the files in the database exist on disk?

I noticed that all activities are used in the path instead of only the primary activity:

Maybe this issue has already been solved in 50b4620
