Overview

The Slider Control Center module offers advanced customization options for Bubble Card elements with a focus on visual enhancements.
It provides precise control over Icon and card sizes, spacing, colors, and visual effects like gradients.

IMPORTANT

Due to the nature of the sections layout, you have to use the HA internal mechanism to resize the card.
It means that the "Card Height Multiplier" only works with the other layouts.
Also with sections layout, you need to use the bubble-card grid layout if you use two row sub-buttons layout.
So generally, if something does not work out as expected, try out a different bubble-card layout.

Card Size Adjustments

• Card Height Multiplier: Scale the overall height of your Bubble Card

Margin & Spacing Adjustments

• Main Icon Vertical Margin: Adjust vertical spacing for the main icon
• Sub-button Container Right Margin: Control the right margin of the sub-button container
• Sub-button Row Spacing: Set the spacing between rows of sub-buttons
• Sub-button Column Spacing: Set the spacing between columns of sub-buttons
• Inner Card Padding: Add padding inside the card for more spacing

Icon Size Adjustments

• Main Icon Size Multiplier: Scale the size of the main icon
• Icon Background Ratio: Adjust the size ratio of the icon background
• Sub-icon Size Multiplier: Scale the size of sub-button icons
• Sub-button Background Ratio: Adjust the size ratio of sub-button backgrounds

Visual Enhancements

• Hide Icon Background: Remove the background from the main icon
• Hide Sub-button Backgrounds: Remove backgrounds from all sub-buttons
• Custom Icon Colors: Set custom colors for main icon and sub-icons

Icon Contrast Helper

The Icon Contrast Helper adds circular background behind icons to improve visibility and contrast regardless of the card's background color.

• Enable Icon Contrast Helper: Toggle the helper feature on/off
• Apply to Main/Sub Icons: Choose which icons get the contrast helper
• Helper Color: Select the background color for the helper
• Helper Opacity: Control the transparency of the helper background
• Helper Size Ratio: Adjust how much of the icon the background covers
• Radial Fade Effect: Enable a smooth fade from color to transparent
• Fade Strength: Control how gradual the fade effect is

Note: When enabling the Icon Contrast Helper, sub-button backgrounds are automatically hidden to prevent visual conflicts.

Indeed, if your module was made after v2.5.0-beta.6, this is how you can get the previous behavior for the sub-buttons.

Oh man, whole time I completely overlooked something, the damn dashboard layout configuration!!
I tried out every layout now and found out that only the default view (sections) is such an issue.
If I choose anything but the section view, the size configurations of my module works perfectly fine, no overlay through other cards. :)
I do even not need the new layout, it just works fine with Large with 2 sub-buttons rows.

If you choose section view, the other cards overlay the card which size was changed by my module as you can see in the picture above from last week.

Also in sections view btw. if you change bubble cards from large to normal view, you do not get more space, the cards have more space in between then.

As you can see here, first two cards are normal layout, and last two cards are large layout.
The cards don't free up the gained space.
So I assume we have here just a specific HA sections issue or it is just like the section view works and we can't do anything about it.

Regarding selector I would like to be able to remove the arrow on the right:

For the height issue I already fixed it for the section view, this will be in the next beta.

For the normal layout, I could do something about it, but that's the default grid height on the section view and I don't want to mess with it, that's why I've made the large layout the default on this view type.

And finally, for the arrow, there is an option for that in the sub-button settings 👌

I have a question. With Visual Enhancements I can make the icon color be the same as the entity color state, and I can define a color for when it's off (e.g. grey). Is it possible to also define a manual color for when the entity is on, instead of the default entity state color (e.g. yellow)?

EDIT: I also tried setting up a manual color on "Manual Sub-Button Icon Color (...)", but it does not change to that color when it's on. Am I missing something? 🤔
EDIT2: The color gets applied when the "Custom Offline/Function Button Color" is disabled, but it doesn't get applied when it's enabled (even if the entity is on)
