Incorrect sub buttons based on status

Describe the bug
Fan subbuttons don't seem to switch the icon based on status.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Create a sub button based on a fan control
2. Have the fan off

Expected behavior
When the fan's status is off, it should change to the fan with the slash through it.
