✅ Safe: boto3 >=1.42.97. Usage limited to src/mcp_memory/core/storage.py with SigV2/SigV4 hybrid config for Dell ECS Cloud Temple. Changes between 1.28 and 1.42.97 are AWS service-specific API additions, no breaking changes to standard S3 ops (PUT/GET/DELETE/HEAD/LIST). signature_version='s3' (SigV2) still supported. AWS_REQUEST_CHECKSUM_CALCULATION env var still honored. Python 3.9 EOL is in 1.43.0 — we're below that, no impact.
