Cowrie Honeypot & Log Viewer

Hi! this project was completed on an AWS Linux EC2 t2.medium instance

In this README I'm not going to explain how I exactly setup cowrie honeypot but instead I'll explain some custom scripts/tools I used to enrich my cowrie data

Workflow

Cowrie setup --> Export Logs --> run build_timeline.py --> export killchains.json(output of build_timeline.py) --> play killchains.json in the same directory as index.html --> Open index.html via the browser and view your data
