tracert

Overview

The tracert command is a Windows command which is an abbreviation of trace route. As the name implies, this command will trace the route taken for a piece of data to travel from one IP to another. The command shows the speed of how long it takes for each dataset to go from each listed IP to the next showing a maximum of 30 hops.
