Private and corporate real estate property owners are using outdated methods to communicate with tenants. Information organization and communication is a crucial process in any leasing and rental businesses. This solution will provide lessors a method of communication that can replace and perform the tasks of almost all of their current means of communications.
The current market of leasing and renting places requires landlords and tenants to communicate important information and documents through various methods, including emails, text, and letters. There is no standardized method that facilitates this communication, and current methods are lacking in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, and security. Additionally, if there is a dispute between landlord and tenant, the information organization and auditing process is troublesome because there is a lack of organization as there are many different mediums of communication.
Landlords need a better way to communicate timely information to tenants. Currently, many landlords post alerts and notices by printing out hardcopies of the information and posting them on tenants’ doors or lobby bulletin boards. This means of communicating important information is not effective and not secure.
Also, it is beneficial for tenants to have one method of communication where they can find all relevant information about their lease and send messages, such as reporting an issue, to their landlord or property staff.
This solution, ProHub, aims to provide one mobile application that meets all of the communication needs of landlords, staff, and tenants.
ProHub is a communication web app which is used to facilitate communication among landlords, staff, and tenants. This is a web application that takes on the tasks of communicating important information among users, providing 24/7 real-time text chat, providing a centralized location for the information, and allowing 24/7 access to the information.
Landlord that implements this solution to their business processes will have the benefit of having an all-in-one effective, efficient, free of cost, environment friendly, and secure method of communication.
Stakeholders of this project will deem this project a success upon completion of the project that is within deadline and within budget. The completion of the project results in an Android app that have all the functionalities listed in the requirements from the scope. Clients/users of this application will deem this project to be a success when the implementation of using the app to manage their business processes result in an increase in workflow and reduction in costs. Also, the implementation of using the app replace most existing methods of communication.
