Stewardship transition of CodePush to Codemagic

Hi everyone,

I’d like to share an upcoming change to the stewardship of this repository.

Before I begin, I want to share some background. Since Microsoft App Center was retired, this project has continued CodePush under CodePushNext organization. At the beginning, @CHOIMINSEOK and I maintained the project in our spare time. Over the past several months, the maintenance work has been supported by Codemagic, which has helped us keep the project moving forward. And now, the project is part of my full-time work at Codemagic.

Given that, we believe it is more transparent to move the GitHub repository from the CodePushNext organization to the Codemagic GitHub organization.

What will change

• The GitHub repository owner will change from CodePushNext to codemagic-ci-cd.
• Codemagic will take responsibility for ongoing maintenance and project administration.

What will not change

• The project will remain open source.
• The license will remain unchanged.
• The package name will remain unchanged.
• Issues, pull requests, and community contributions will continue to be welcome.
• This repository will continue to be developed publicly.

This project is no longer a spare-time effort, and moving the repository under Codemagic makes that responsibility explicit. At the same time, we want to avoid making this feel like a quiet takeover of a community project. That is why we are sharing this in advance.

We plan to perform the transfer on or after May 29, 2026. In the meantime, please feel free to share any questions or concerns.
