What's new
Phone push notifications for new uploads (opt-in). SmarterTube now posts a status-bar / lock-screen notification when a channel you're subscribed to uploads a new video — even when the app is closed. Tapping a notification opens the video in the player.
- Enable it under Settings → Upload notifications (off by default).
- New uploads are grouped under a single summary.
- The app checks in the background roughly every 15 minutes.
Also folds in the latest upstream SmartTube engine (31.93).
Install the ABI matching your device, or the universal APK. In-place upgrade from a prior SmarterTube release (same signing key). See the README for Obtainium auto-updates.
