Camera Failed Error (Extension Broken?)

I'm not sure what happened, but the extension no longer seems to work.  Without warning, any attempt to use it (or even have it on), renders the camera non-operational in Meet (and only Meet).  It gives a "Camera Failed" error.  I suspect this may be something Meet changed, as the same problem arises with any of the available programs designed to allow you to use backgrounds in your video.
