I have not been able to get the game to compile, only the main menu "works" but the textures are too high resolution to be acceptable on the 3DS. Feel free to fix and fork (ill figure out how to let others make commits, im js figuring out Git)
This repo hosts the Hollow Knight 3DS Demake source code and CIA releases.
The source code is not currently released. HOWEVER, once you would like to build, follow these instructions:
Download the source code
Download the Unity version for building for 3DS

Once the Unity version is installed, use Unihacker to patch the Unity.exe file

(Select the Unity.exe, not the Unity installer)
Open the project in the unity 5.6 you installed earlier
Set the build target to 3DS
build for 3DS, but do not press "Build And Run," and make sure that none of the checkboxes are checked (no CIA, no Development build)
Once built, you will get a .cci file (which is just a .3ds file) you can now install it, or convert it to a .cia file using GM9
Report any bugs please. Also I am a solo developer and semi-new to Unity so cut me some slack. ONE MORE THING; im not gonna make a premade cia anytime soon, and ima prolly upload the project as a ZIP file.. cry abt it
