FCPX 10.6.1 no longer exports PNGs or TIFFs with Alpha Channels

In previous versions of FCPX you could export a PNG/TIFF and it would export with an alpha channel/transparency.

In FCPX 10.6.1 on a MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021) running macOS Monterey 12.3 it now just exports a black/solid background.

Given the Share Destination preview correctly shows transparency (if you have the playback background set to checkerboard) - I assume this is a regression/bug.
