Chrome 37 Data URI load base64 Images

It would appear that in the new release of chrome base 64 png images fail to load using the image-inline() methods.

if you inspect http://www.travelopo.com/ you will see the resource failures.

I've tried contacting the chromium team for resolution, but not sure if this is a compass related bug as jpg base64 encoding is correct.

I'm using OSX and the latest version of compass and ruby.

This is happening to all site I have used inline-image in for PNG embedding to the CSS resources.
