Even `compass help` is taking too long

It can take several minutes. As for compiling, I saw it taking about 10 minutes. What can I look into? I suppose it's searching something in the gems, am I wrong?

UPD Maybe not an issue with compass particularly. Can it have to do with many gems being installed? How do I check that?

Are all of your gems up to date?

Apparently not all. I generally use bundler, and rarely do bundle update.

Anyway, after I prepended bundle exec it finished fast (several seconds).

You should know that compass is no longer supported. Last release was January 2015. You should move to one of the other ones.

You should make a issue in Compass Rails Repo from now on. There are more people active there than here.
