Second commit is workaround for various discontinuity, invalid checksum, Continuity counter error and Transport error indicator errors which happens randomly at 1/25 channel switches.
Compiled CoreELEC images for testing are available at https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Zp4vS_ms2HjqWJGdJl8jDKHpow2vCjCf |

Hi @Koumes. |
|
My concern is that it will be blocked or delayed through LibreELEC. So I'm +1 to use it until then. |
|
@afl1 Thanks for your advices. I moved the patches to .../media_tree_cc_aml/patches and I'm going to try LibreELEC. I think it will be difficult to enforce a global increase of dmxdev buffer size, because the error is likely to be seen only on some platform (maybe only "slow" ARM - Amlogic S9xx and Allwinner H3 [there is only when CPU dynamically changes frequency]). Does not affect the x86_64. |
|
I think we don't have to bother with LibreELEC. If this is an improvement for Amlogic we should definitely use it asap. |
|
Ok. I merged PR. |

T230C v2 is T230C2? TVheadend isn´t reports a "No signal" now, but TVheadend still report discontinuity, Continuity counter error and other error. |

Hi @Temsor,
Yes it's the same device. USB ID 0572:c68a.
I don't know what's causing it. Workaround 317b5a6 is not maybe complete solution but works on my Vorke Z6 Plus (Amlogic S912) while using DVB-T and DVB-T2. Please try the dvb-latest with patches from #209 which works very well. (There is some little issues caused by Hauppauge patch which is partially obsolete. I recommend turning off the PLP. ["options si2168 dvbt_auto_plp=0" in /etc/modprobe.d/si2168.conf file]). |

I use Odroid C2 (S905) and only DVB-T2. I dont use DVB-T, because it is ending, but I try it - get continuity errors. It's weird sometimes works it, sometimes not works it. I see NOVA in 634Mhz. You are from Prague? Have you works DVB-T2 498Mhz (eg. Prima CC)? I get always "No signal", only exceptionally it works. |
|
I'm in Prague and all three DVB-T2 muxes works fine (with patched "DVB drivers from the latest kernel" - my image). You may have a weak signal. Mux 498 MHz (NOVA etc.) transmitters not Žižkov/Cukrák, but Ládví/Novodvorská/Olšanská with various polarizations (H/H/V). The lowest acceptable C/N value for my MyGica T230C2 is around 20-22 dB.
|
Probably... The antenna (H) is pointing north. I receive a signal from Ládví, but I too receive 530Mhz (with errors) from Pardubice / Votice (reflection from the south). 530MHz (errors): 554Mhz: I'll try to get another antenna Edit: Even I adding a cable between a antenna and a tuner now. I have a C/N around 31 -35dB |

When switching TV channels, the TVheadend HTSP client addon sometimes reports a "No signal" error.
I found that some demuxer si2168 commands may take 130-140 ms.
