• market programmer price for coding something like this ~ $25k-30k USD
• RarePepeNews + Dan Anderson and others have tools like this out of a labor of love
• realistic to USD price on TokenScan outdated - xcp.io and countertools.io really nice to have

• code issues still being worked out

• largest change to the protocol in 2 years (besides fairminter / atomic swaps)

• changes the economics of the entire system

• needs testing and time and future consensus

• 'this seems nice' is the attitude

we move on to community consensus philosophy vs 'ease' of implementation codewise:

• Adam (paraphrased) "how is this LP idea something everyone wants (lots of code changes), but move decimal point is a few lines of code and everyone is angry at it?! ... every service and website that uses Counterparty data has to change just one line of code"

• Dave, (paraphrased) "because at this time it's difficult to even get a hold of every service provider for such a serious change (even though small code change) to USD and XCP price / value / decimal point... and there is quite a bigger philosophical change ... we need to see how infrastructure providers handle the next changes first to get an understanding of where we are at now... "A" asset protocol change is a mostly* majority consensus ... let's see how that goes first"
