Release Policy Update

We are adopting a new standard for release classification:

• Major Stable Release (e.g., 4.0): Official release of macro-features. This version is to be considered solid, fully tested, and stable.
• Minor Pre-release (e.g., 4.1, 4.2): Iterative release aimed at beta-testing new features and applying bug fixes. We advise against using these in production without prior verification.
• Each release and pre-release will include all available versions, so they will no longer be separated by operating system
