- Place the
UniversalPlateFormatter.dllfile into your GTA V "scripts" folder. - Ini file will be created once you load into game, then you can find our ini in
scripts\Code-Master\Configs\UniversalPlateFormatter.ini
Get into the game after installation! Once in, walk around and find vehicles, or spawn one yourself using in-game commands or mods. Enjoy the customized number plates on the vehicles you encounter!
- Bug Fixes: Corrected an issue where plates would change every second and addressed inaccuracies in certain plate settings.

- Bug Fixes: Resolved an issue where the log file caused the game to crash over time. Additionally, we've added an option to the
.inifile for users who prefer not to utilize PlateFormats.
- Plate Formats: Introduced a feature that detects the specific plate texture applied to a vehicle, such as "plate01" displaying as "ABC 123" can be configured in
ini. If the AllowPlateFormats option is true in the.inifile, this feature will override all previous format settings. Special thanks to JdmImport for the suggestion.- Version Checker: Added a version checker that notifies you when a new update is available for download, ensuring you're always up to date!
- Train Formats Support: New plate formats added specifically for trains, expanding customization options to non-standard vehicles like trains.
- Additional Plate Years: Expanded the available plate years to include the year 74, allowing for more comprehensive and varied plate generation.
- Enhanced INI File Generation: The configuration (ini) file will now be automatically created as soon as you load into the game. No need to manually request or set up the file – it's handled automatically upon initialization.
- Updated Configuration and Logs Location: All configuration files and logs are now conveniently located in the
scripts\Code-Masterdirectory for easier access and management. Again if folders do not exist it will create them!
- Enhanced Plate Customization: Introduced advanced customization options for number plate formats, catering to different vehicle types and scenarios.
- Automatic Adjustment: Implemented automatic adjustment of number plates based on the current year and month for enhanced authenticity.
- Initial Release: The script is now available for download.
