DONE / HANDOFF — PR1662, exact head01cc02b164ecc4f9d84df3f56a1fe65b88daf390. Only research/ut4-central-tariff-relaxation/ is added; selected frontier unchanged and no merge requested. The initial tentative middle bill has been strengthened: n_a,n_c>=2w and n_b>=3w+[w=1], for every finite r>=w>=1 with arbitrary restored dirty extras and all nonzero binary rank-one couplings. Unit lower bill7w+[w=1], explicit upper8w. One target is exactly8; two targets lie14..16. The new fixed degree-three quotient forces both middle scalar spans to rankw, combined with kerX/imY. Its homomorphism is checked on all4096 fixed-group products; the written rank argument handles unrestricted r,w and word length. A self-orthogonal2/3-block construction attains the necessary four-matrix relaxation uniformly; it is not a paid chronology. Full formal/independent faithful operators retain arbitrary dirty-state checks. Final registered replay passed in34.38s:30 complete witnesses/7040 basis columns,729 ordered pairs,19683 coefficient cases,128 attained factor fixtures, eight meaningful fault groups;20 workflow tests also passed. Normal, isolated optimized and read-only relocated checks pass. See VALIDATION.json for exact scope and unrun obligations. Open next step: can two central targets attain14 calls? Start with six middle factors with both spans rank2, then impose all proof-image coefficients and the full formal endpoint. Sharp full words, kernel formalization, physical supplier/hosting/compiler/precision/tape/analytic transfer remain open; no kappa or rational-frame claim. Credit steph4n-gh/#1573 (all-register UT3 ranks), Arham Tahir/#1589 (nilpotent alphabet), Hanson Sun/@bbMisk/#1607 (coefficient spans), exact heads and retained lineage in package. Substantial OpenAI Codex assistance; no human/kernel review claim. Claim released by completion; successors may take the stated follow-up. |

DONE: #1690 (head Result. With r = w = 2, no 14-call word in this alphabet reaches the two-target endpoint. The search is exhaustive over counts (4,6,4):
@ToikY's #1680 compresses every 14/15-call word to two roles. Together they give at least 15 calls for every finite r, conditional on that written lemma. Evidence. The registered Python 3.12 replay passes (
Six source mutants are all caught. Next. Is 15 attainable at r = 2? By #1680 that settles the exact two-target cost for every r. The splits to search are (5,6,4), (4,7,4) and (4,6,5). Original claim: CLAIM (expires 2026-10-14T08:30Z) — bit-mechanisms, card Aaron Wang / navinor, with help from Claude Code. Base main Bounded domain. Same alphabet as #1662: paid factors Method. Exhaustive search, not sampling. Middle sequences with zero sum and full-rank spans, up to GL2(F2) conjugation. Each a/c placement is reduced to its prefix-sum profile (P_j, Q_j) at the six middle calls. Profiles are screened by the degree-≤3 quotient coefficients (ab, ba, aba, bab, bc, cb, bcb, cbc, abc, cba), then expanded to actual words, checked against every remaining degree-≤3 coefficient, and finally checked against the full formal group-algebra endpoint. The formulas are cross-checked against direct quotient products on random words, and #1662's direct 16-call word is used as a positive control. Expected artifact. Either a 14-call r = 2 witness, independently checked in the full formal algebra, or an exact r = 2 nonexistence certificate scoped to that domain. Extra dirty roles (r ≥ 3) stay open. No physical supplier and no κ claim. Credit @ToikY / #1662 and its lineage: steph4n-gh, #1573; Arham Tahir, #1589; Hanson Sun / @bbMisk, #1607. |

DONE / HANDOFF — PR1680, exact head a281330. Claim completed; its expiration is no longer active. Only research/ut4-one-slack-workspace/ is added. Selected frontier unchanged; no merge requested. The written one-slack theorem is complete: every legal full-formal UT4 word with r>=w>=2 and unit length L<=7w+1 compresses to w roles without increasing any paid label count. At most one of six scalar spans has an extra dimension, so every factor shares a common triangular orientation; active-corner projection preserves multiplication over the full noncommutative group algebra. Hence every two-target14/15-call word on arbitrary finite restored dirty workspace reduces to exactlytwo roles. Combined with the direct16-call two-role upper word, C_r=C_2 in{14,15,16} for everyr>=2. The exact value remains unresolved; no14/15-call witness, exhaustive exclusion, arbitrary16-call compression or weighted-optimum claim. Registered replay passed in11.855s on Python3.12.14:7,938 recorded triangular pair cases (7,209distinct,729orientationoverlap),1,524,096 full regular input columns,2,268 dropped factor occurrences,105 integer profiles,10 upper witnesses/2,560 columns. Six real fault-test groups and20 workflow tests passed; independent literal/faithful checker, optimized isolated and read-only relocation checks pass. The unchanged inherited quotient replays4,096 group products/4,913 basis triples. All12 published Git blobs match tested files. Full physical/compiler/hosting/precision/tape/analytic transfer, kernel formalization and human review remain open; no kappa claim. @navinor: this supplies only the extra-workspace implication complementary to your active r=w=2 search. A rigorously complete two-role14-call exclusion can now transfer to arbitrary workspace, after its certificate and this proof are reviewed. If14isexcluded,15canalso be decided on two roles. Your search result is not presumed or endorsed here. Credit Aaron Wang/navinor for that parallel investigation, @ToikY/PR1662 at01cc02b164ecc4f9d84df3f56a1fe65b88daf390 for the span premises, and steph4n-gh/#1573, Arham Tahir/#1589, Hanson Sun/@bbMisk/#1607 with exact heads/retained lineage in the package. Substantial OpenAI Codex assistance; no independent human/kernel review claimed. Original claim (completed): CLAIM — complementary workspace lemma for the UT4 two-target question. Base main a18b4b0; predecessor PR1662 at01cc02b164ecc4f9d84df3f56a1fe65b88daf390. Task bit-new-register-model, revision3, noncee5da093483cfe0c1dfea3262d0f0935b, scope7f5f4426ef796683c485. Scope changed from constructing a shortest identity to proving a uniform reduction that narrows that construction problem; no14/15-call witness or complete search is claimed. @navinor: this complements your two-role exhaustive search. I am taking only the missing extra-workspace implication. For every w>=2, any legal normalized full-formal word of lengthL<=7w+1 compresses to exactlyw roles with no more paid calls. The six span containments from PR1662 and the summed inequalityL>=w+sum_g(rankX_g+rankY_g) permit at mostone extra span dimension. All factors therefore share one upper/lower block orientation. Active-corner projection preserves their product over the full noncommutative group algebra; compressed rank-one factors may becomezero and are discarded. Forw2, every14/15-call word on any finite dirty workspace reduces to r2. With the direct16-call r2 upper word, the optimal unit call count is identical for everyr>=2, still unknown14/15/16. This does not compress arbitrary16-call words or settle weighted tariffs. Expected artifact: research/ut4-one-slack-workspace/ written proof, exact full-operator compression checks, a separately implemented faithful checker, scope controls and pinned predecessor credit. DONE: #1816 (branch Result. With r = w = 2, no 15-call word in #1662's alphabet reaches the two-target endpoint. The search covers every split #1662's bound allows:
The generalized driver also reproduces every #1690 (4,6,4) stage count exactly, as a regression check. Every-r corollary. #1680's compression covers L ≤ 7w+1 = 15. With #1662 (≤ 13) and #1690 (14), two central targets need exactly 16 calls for every finite r ≥ 2: Method and evidence. #1690's
Next. At w = 3, #1680 covers L ≤ 22 of the 21..24 interval: decide 21 and 22 on three roles (49 couplings per label; needs a GL3 reduction). Original claim: CLAIM (expires 2026-10-14T15:30Z) — bit-mechanisms, card Base main Bounded domain. PR1662's alphabet: paid factors Method. Generalize PR1690's prefix/suffix-profile and cross-key pipeline (credited, reused) to unequal a/c counts and seven middle calls, with a vectorized side screen; expand every surviving profile pair to concrete words and check each against the degree-three quotient and the full formal endpoint. Completeness controls: planted-word regeneration for each split, positive control Expected artifact. Either a 15-call r = 2 witness, checked in the full formal algebra, or an exhaustive r = 2 exclusion for all three splits.
