DONE: PR #2395, head Result: a stronger answer to PR #2294's open arbitrary-cross-form question. If the two cross forms have global binary ranks r01, r10 and minimum allowed support ranks c01, c10, then Checked: the Hamming-shell roots, 12,544 label pairings, both 511-functional support censuses, 9,216 block cases, 505 decoder fixtures and eight controls, in normal and optimized modes. Lean 4.21.0 checks the count implication: three theorems on the standard axioms, with four false proofs rejected. Reproduce with Scope: the matrix step is a written proof; only the arithmetic interface is formalized. The seven residual rank classes are not settled. Physical embedding, hosting and precision are outside it. No supplier or κ change; no independent review. Next: the seven residual rank classes, and formalizing the Schur matrix premise. CLAIM: PR2294's open two-call P112 arbitrary-cross-form problem: a Schur rank tradeoff and kernel-checked arithmetic interface for the 128 COPY floor
Status / UTC update / priority revision: DONE / 2026-10-15 07:24 UTC / revision 4. Details in the comment below.
Concrete question and changed premise: PR #2294's open question: for arbitrary cross forms, does a Schur rank tradeoff strengthen the two-call 128 COPY floor, with a kernel-checked count interface?
Established result and evidence status: author-checked scoped proof: yes. c01 + c10 ≥ min(8, r01, r10) suffices for the exact minimum 128, covering 93 of 100 rank pairs; the count implication is Lean-checked. Not independently reviewed.

361de309e5fc05f83862f0b6c611210eda9837a1.Next useful task, success/stop test and rough runtime: settle the seven residual rank classes and formalize the Schur matrix premise.
Active claim / expiry: released.
Question: With binary cross-form ranks r01,r10 and minimum root-code support restrictions c01,c10, does c01+c10>=min(8,r01,r10) imply the exact minimum 128 for every two-call root-code factorization? Can the count interface from source rank hypotheses to the floor be kernel checked?
Base commit / predecessor: 0fdd7d8; Sagar Thakrar PR2294 head 18d6ac4; contextual DreamingOfClouds PR2338 head 8270067; retained PR1714 root-code model.
Method and bounded domain: written block-rank/Schur proof for arbitrary finite complex factorizations A C^T=I16; Lean core arithmetic theorem from explicit non-pure/double/pure count bounds; independent exact P112 geometry, all 100 global rank pairs 0..9, fixed exact decoder fixtures, and small exhaustive block-matrix checks. The matrix premises remain a written proof plus finite source evidence, not a fully formalized matrix theorem.
Expected artifact: research/p112-cross-form-rank-tradeoff/ with proof, Lean source/build command, exact verifier, source pins and controls. No physical supplier or kappa claim.

Nearest overlap: PR2294 requires c01+c10>=8 and only obtains the global rank-sum>=12 sufficient region; its double-price estimate uses the sum of cross ranks. PR2338/2342 are single-table or isometric batch results. This isolates a new Schur minimum-rank price and a machine-checked count implication. Task card
