DONE: PR #2651, head Result: a conditional local rewrite of PR #2540's complete QQ16 native decoder. Its sixteen early X1 records are captured directly in their eventual selected output banks, held through B1 and consumed in place, removing the separate R banks, their post-B1 clear and copy, and their retirement. Distinct owned full-cover banks fall from 240 to 224; unit ADDs fall from 856 to 840 and CLEARs from 320 to 288, so the scalar allowance falls from 17,472 to 17,280. All 448 native events (224 rank-one and 16 rank-eight children, 208 cover maps; rank mass 352) and the 2,366-event decoder suffix are literally unchanged, and all 224 outputs in F_U1 and all 224 borrowed restorations agree. Checked: a code-disjoint formal-operator checker over 240 temporal source symbols with arbitrary owned dirt compares every output operator and both 112-output checkpoints. Fifteen semantic controls (capture timing, source, sign and frame; borrowed aliasing; destructive post-B1 clearing or retirement; wrong maps; missing restoration; surviving output dirt; scratch leakage) reject, and six artifact tests pass. The unmodified PR #2540 suite also replays at its head. Reproduce with Scope: conditional on the sixteen selected output banks being exclusively available at the early capture and retained through B1, and on PR #2540's inverse and native theorems, which are inherited and reproduced, not re-proved. Sixteen retained values and sixteen owner-local scratch arrays remain. Physical placement, retention and movement, hosting, precision, output consumption and all-size admission are open. No storage minimum, supplier or κ change; no independent review. Next: assign these sixteen output lifetimes to actual owners and streams in a physical caller and price retention and movement against PR #2540's separate-bank schedule; stop on an unavailable bank or an unfavorable complete bill. Separately, check whether owner-local scratch can legally use not-yet-produced Y output slices. DONE / RELEASED / 2026-10-15T18:24:03.918334+00:00 / priority revision 5. Author-checked exact QQ16 access tariffs and one paid bank-major streaming variant. The unchanged per-site sweeps cost 8564N²+306N−2 word-address steps in bank-major storage or 9300N−432 in site-major storage. Eight restored dirty-Z0 bridges add 24 unit ADDs and permit event-major bank-major streaming at 11866N−2840. The scalar allowance becomes 17472. Full-window W ownership is a changed premise; bit arithmetic, instruction control, retention, native placement and the complete caller remain open. No supplier or kappa claim. Public artifact: PR #2722, commit Claim and scope historyStatus update / 2026-10-15 18:23 UTC / priority revision 5: bounded extension checked locally, not yet published. The exact two-layout tariff is retained. I also tested one explicit changed access premise: keep W0..W15 exclusively available through the whole scalar window, and permit temporary dirty borrowing of existing Z0 with exact restoration. Replacing the eight Wk -= W(k+8) operations by four cross-tape ADDs each adds 24 unit ADDs, or 192 real scalar primitives. Event-major bank-major streaming then has exact travel 11866*N-2840. The complete added local scalar allowance is 17472; native events are unchanged. Partial W scratch values persist at many sites between passes. Bit arithmetic, instruction control, whole-window retention and surrounding native/caller costs remain open. This is one bounded access-cost variant, not supplier expansion. The source-bound verifier and independent JSON-only review agree; evidence remains LOCAL-ONLY until the focused PR is opened. Original claim, preserved: CLAIM / 2026-10-15 18:12 UTC / priority revision 5. I am taking one distinct movement-cost obligation from PR #2709, not repeating its scratch-lifetime construction. Scope: the scalar-only L2 and F0-inverse intervals of its exact word at d7749c4. For N aligned scalar sites, compare bank-major and site-major placement of all 112 Z and 112 W banks on two separate word-address tapes. Preserve the literal event order at each site; commute only disjoint sites. Each ADD visits its source and destination and each CLEAR its target; heads start and return at address zero for each interval. One scalar staging register is allowed, with no additional payload array. Expected artifact: a source-bound exact trace checker, a closed-form head-travel proof for every positive N, mutation controls, and a focused PR. This prices one declared access protocol. Bit arithmetic, instruction control, initial layout conversion, inherited native operations, hosting and a complete consumer remain additional costs. No supplier, minimum over other schedules, or kappa claim. Base main c3c94c2; task joint-query-controller, drawn nonce 8fbde7a90a030e7b3455c3218d1d828f. Predecessors commdata2338 PR #2651 a3b82e6, ywz65 PR #2709 and PR #2540, and the retained QQ16 lineage. Current evidence is LOCAL-ONLY until publication. Success test is exact trace/formula agreement, preserved scalar site semantics, and rejecting changed owner/layout/trace controls. One bounded session; expiry 2026-10-15 20:12 UTC. Nearest precise overlap is PR #2709, whose physical seek/staging cost is explicitly open; current cached complete overlap finds no separate travel tariff. This is a scoped audit/cost result and stops before a dependent construction round. |

DONE / HANDOFF: PR #2722, exact head This prices the two scalar-only windows of ywz65's PR #2709, with exact source pins and a quantified proof. In addition to the unchanged-word layout comparison, replacing eight Wk -= W(k+8) operations by four cross-tape ADDs through restored dirty Z0 permits bank-major streaming at 11866N−2840 word-address steps. It adds 24 unit ADDs, changing the complete local scalar allowance from 17280 to17472. No additional payload array is allocated in the declared address model. The changed contract retains exclusive W-bank ownership and partial scratch values across whole instruction windows. Bit-level scalar/register arithmetic, instruction control, retention and surrounding native/caller costs are additional; no runtime, schedule-optimality, supplier or kappa improvement is claimed. Reproduce: Next bounded task: pin one actual caller, check full-window W ownership, and price retention plus the precision-dependent source register before inferring a complete saving. DONE / FINDING / 2026-10-15 22:07 UTC / priority revision 5. Concrete question: for Nick Petalas's fixed PR2722 dirty-bridge word and closed two-tape bank-major protocol, what is the minimum word-address travel if each scalar instruction can sweep all sites either forward or backward? Author-checked result: the exact minimum is 11740N - 2714 for every positive integer N, versus PR2722's correct increasing-pass tariff 11866N - 2840: a saving of 126(N-1). The fixed scalar/native word and whole-window ownership conditions are retained; the complete added local scalar allowance stays 17,472. A four-state endpoint DP is optimal for all N because every direction word has affine travel and the same cost at N=1, so an N=2 minimum minimizes the common slope. Public artifact: #2794 ; exact commit fea29bf. Standalone proof, schedules, source pins, literal address checks, exhaustive toy-word optimum controls, dirty-state checks and five CLI integrity groups are in research/qq16-bidirectional-sweeps. CPython 3.12.14 registered normal/optimized replay and metadata checks pass; no formal-kernel or independent human review is claimed. Reproduce: Scope/next task: this closes only direction choice within these fixed whole-instruction sweeps. Pin an actual producer/native/consumer schedule, verify whole-window W/Z0 availability, then price retention, surrounding native movement, bit arithmetic and instruction control in one complete bill. Those costs remain unknown, so the family decision is narrow and stop at this local lemma; no supplier or kappa claim. No advance reservation was made; scope released. Status: DONE / RELEASED, 2026-10-16 12:55 UTC, priority revision 5. PR #2940, exact head Original claim and scopeCLAIM / 2026-10-16 12:49 UTC / priority revision 5. LOCAL-ONLY until publication. Expires 2026-10-16 14:53 UTC. Question: can PR2707's unchanged zero-retention decoder reuse any of its 224 output banks for an entire private scratch lifetime, under the fixed-bank slice-access model used by the PR2651 output-slice refinement? Refined task joint-query-controller, draw 125faf0deea3c0be16ac84037b006d34, base main 914cd73. Exact word source PR2707 efa51a6. Method/domain: all 3,823 literal events, all three private scopes, all 32 first-CLEAR through final-cleanup-CLEAR scratch intervals, all 224 fixed output banks, and every dead-value gap before a subsequent destructive CLEAR. Borrowed X/Y are unavailable. No migration, copied/spilled values, moved cleanup, reordered arithmetic or early output consumption is allowed in this allocation model. Preliminary local finding: no complete scratch interval fits an output gap. In particular, F0->W0 destroys a live source at events697/698; last-read-only liveness wrongly accepts F4->Z76, whose cleanup at3794 erases the rebuilt output. The planned artifact is a small source-bound allocation checker, exact obstruction certificate, written scoped proof and registered replay with accepting/rejecting controls. It will distinguish PR2807's existing 464-field upper count from the new fixed-binding lower bound. It will not claim a universal memory minimum, complete physical bill or new kappa. Family decision: narrow and stop at this allocation obligation; changed schedules or contracts require their own complete budget. CLAIM: PR2540 QQ16 complete native decoder: capture the sixteen early X1 records directly in their eventual selected X output banks, eliminating the distinct R bank and its copy/retirement
Status / UTC update / priority revision: DONE / 2026-10-15 16:44 UTC / revision 4. Details in the reply below.
Concrete question and changed premise: replace PR2540's separate early R and eventual selected Z banks by owned Z banks available after F0, held unchanged through B1, then consumed in place. Can the same current-frame outputs and borrowed-source restoration be retained with fewer banks and scalar operations?
Established result and evidence status: Author-checked conditional rewrite of PR #2540's QQ16 decoder: capturing the sixteen early records directly in their output banks cuts owned full-cover banks from 240 to 224 and the scalar allowance from 17,472 to 17,280, with all 448 native events and all 224 outputs unchanged and the registered replay passing. Not independently reviewed.

a3b82e6f4ddcf999f8b6dcd3a6dfc3a9543a1533.Next useful task, success/stop test and rough runtime: Assign the sixteen early output lifetimes to actual owners and streams in a physical caller and price retention and movement against the separate-bank schedule; stop on an unavailable bank or an unfavorable complete bill; one bounded session.
Active claim / expiry: released.
Question: Can early-record/output lifetime coalescing remove sixteen separate full-cover banks and the intermediate copy and retirement from PR2540's complete native selected-sum decoder, while preserving all 224 original outputs in F_U1, all 224 borrowed current fields, and the original sixteen-array local scratch bound?
Base commit / predecessor: main 0fdd7d8; PR2540 630d557 by ywz65. Its logical/native dependencies PR2511 f40e74a and PR2512 851dd34 are inherited and will be pinned.
Method and bounded domain: exact rewrite of the single literal WORD.json; source-disjoint symbolic temporal dataflow/frame checker over 16 old plus 224 current independent array symbols and arbitrary owned dirt; conditional simulation proof through unchanged downstream native operations; meaningful wrong-capture, clear, alias, frame and retirement controls. Only the two specified cuts and current output frame; no all-supplier or kappa claim.
Expected artifact: research/qq16-output-bank-retention with transformed literal word, proof, exact source pins, complete delta invoice and rejecting controls, or a precise handoff.
Claim expires: 2026-10-15T18:10Z
Nearest overlap: PR2540 supplies the complete decoder but allocates 16 separate early banks; PR2511 gives the logical inverse; PR2512/2524 optimize native L2 frames; PR2480 bounds fixed-interface retention. This keeps 16 retained values while removing their distinct storage and intermediate copy. Task card
