v1.0.3
dd1517d

Fixes the in-game music player's now-playing display so it keeps up as tracks change on their own (not just on manual skip), plus a small art rendering tweak. Windows / macOS / Linux builds attached — unzip and run (macOS: right-click → Open the first time).

v1.0.2
fff5b6f

A small art & rendering touch: one room now shows a hand-drawn plate rendered crisp, a deliberate contrast to the pixelated world everywhere else. Same game as v1.0.1 otherwise. Windows / macOS / Linux builds attached — unzip and run (macOS: right-click → Open).

v1.0.1

Patch release. Ratz's prosthetic arm is now the grimy pink the novel describes (hand-painted over the plate), not the teal the renderer gave it. Same game as v1.0.0 otherwise. Windows/macOS/Linux builds attached; unzip and run.

Neuromancer — a 2026 fan remake — v1.0.0

A faithful, standalone Godot 4 remaster of Interplay's 1988 Neuromancer, after the William Gibson novel. First full release — winnable start to finish, with every displayed asset (art, prose, music) freshly authored, so it ships with no original game files required.

What's in it

  • All of Chiba City + Freeside — 56 explorable rooms with the real map, exits, and quests.
  • Economy & shops — Crazy Edo's and Asano's (authentic decks + prices), the Body Shop organ bank, the PAX terminal, NPCs (Ratz, Shin, Deane).
  • Cyberspace & ICE combat — jack in, run the matrix, break data-fortress ICE.
  • Two endings — crack the Gold AI to reach the Tessier-Ashpool core, face the Neuromancer AI on Cyberspace Beach, and either refuse (free Wintermute) or stay in the construct's dream with Linda Lee.
  • An original soundtrackThe Flatline Sessions by As30p, area-reactive and crossfading.
  • Named multi-slot saves.
