I'm glad you like Shadow-ESC! I'm considering to stop updating the current V5 because the cabling is not suitable for commercialization, so I'm currently working on designing a new solution that's as compact and high-performance as the main one .

Hi, I’d like to take the chance to do a quick survey for future improvements.
Would you prefer the ESC to be smaller in size, or maybe a different shape? Should it be thinner?
Do you need higher motor power output, or lower?
Would you prefer a dual drive, or is a single one enough for your needs?

In my case, I would need the best power to footprint ratio: compact size and power. I was considering using lastest infineon Optimus 7 chips for this task.
Shape is great: target a credit card is just awesome.
That very good to have 2 board: power that need to be cooled down with rad and an other that's dont (main).
Power: I will expect the best for the size. GaN fet are something to consider
Single drive are ok since with vesc and Can we can pair 2 controller very easily

Thank you for sharing this message, it really sparked my inspiration.
I am currently considering stopping this repository, as I have come up with a new concept that could achieve a smaller size, higher performance (higher power), and more protection features.
I will start a new ESC repository (name not yet decided), and I am confident it will be more compact while remaining fully compatible with VESC. However, it will require a complete redesign, so it may take some time.
In any case, I truly appreciate your input and thank you very much.

I will officially release the new generation KESC on the @Knockoi account!
This time, we’ve completely upgraded the driver and redesigned the circuit layout,
bringing a smaller form factor, stronger performance, and higher reliability.
