✨ What's New

🔥 Endless Survival Mode

The ultimate test of your Hiragana speed. Survive as long as you can before the timer runs out!

  • Dynamic Speed Curve: The timer shrinks by 5% after every single correct answer, eventually bottoming out at a blazing fast 2.0 seconds!
  • 3-Strike Rule: You start with 3 hearts. Choose the wrong answer or let the timer run out, and you lose a heart. Once they're gone, you're out.
  • Escalating Difficulty: As you progress, the number of choices increases from 4, to 6, and eventually up to 8! Reaching Level 11 forces Dakuten and Combinations on.

🧩 Words & Sentences Mode

Bridge the gap between raw memorization and actual reading comprehension with our new progression mode.

  • Duolingo-Style Pill Assembly: Tap fragments to build standard words, verbs, and famous anime quotes.
  • Barkada Themed Vocabulary: Learn survival words like baka and neko, or assemble anime quotes like nigerundayo.
  • Mastery Progression Gate: Complete 15 words in Basic Survival to unlock Verbs & Adjectives, which then unlocks Sentences & Quotes!
  • Hardcore Typing Final Boss: No pills. No hints. Read the full anime quote in Hiragana and type the exact Romaji translation to prove your mastery.

🛠️ Improvements

  • Hiragana Quiz UI: Completely redesigned the layout to fit seamlessly on one screen—no more awkward scrolling to hit play!
  • Pre-Game Countdown: Added a hype 3, 2, 1, GO! countdown sequence before the timer kicks in, so you aren't immediately blasted with a 10-second timer.
  • How to Play Guide: Added a dedicated info button that explains the exact rules and mechanics for every game mode.
  • Smart Header Scoring: The "Best Score" displayed in the top bar now dynamically updates to show your personal best for the exact game mode you are currently playing.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an annoying UI bug where the checkmarks on the Dakuten and Combinations toggles were invisible.
  • Fixed an issue in the Word Builder where the game would instantly fail you on the first try due to an empty drop-zone glitch.
  • Disabled copy-pasting text on characters and questions to prevent cheating. Play fair!
  • Fixed the endless mode checkboxes so they are automatically checked and locked when Endless Survival is selected.
