Thank you for the feedback :) I regularly explore other image editors to study their features and capabilities. For instance, I recently implemented depth masks, inspired by similar functionality I observed in other tools. |

I saw that, is that the 3d effect mask I saw on Luminar Neo?
I watched A dabble in photography YouTube video out just now on using the two AI masks in darktable. I was confused and not impressed with the results.
I like DT but sometimes it's so frustrating with the developers. A few months ago posts were critised heavily for even mentioning AI. And now they have two AI solutions that to me are not yet fit for purpose.
Carry on with your really impressive project.

Just for discussion. I'm coming from darktable and GIMP as the early issues with Fuji files and Wayland discouraged me. I have followed it's development in amazement at its pace and direction. For some reason reason YouTube has recently included for me luminar neo development videos. I'm a FOSS person so would not pay for this software. However some of the AI stuff it can do is incredible. In portrait module it can reduce bags under the eyes, smooth out blemishes and specular highlights in an instant.
I just wondered if CyberTimon ever looks at other software packages behind a paywall and think "I can add this to RapidRaw."
Mind you Luminar Neo users were quite excited to get feathering on masks on this latest release.
Carry on the good work Timon.
